Ladd Community Consolidated School District #94 will conduct a Pre-K screening for the 2016-2017 school year. To be screened, children must be three years old by the date of the screening. There will be another screening for younger children closer to the beginning of the school year. The screening determines eligibility for the Preschool for All program that may be at Ladd School next year. Screening is required for placement in the program and consists of a series of tests including cognitive, speech, vision and hearing. If the district is granted a Preschool for All award by the State of Illinois, priority placement will be based on a student’s school readiness after the children have completed the screening process.
