Author Meet & Greet

The Ladd Public Library is hosting a Meet and Greet with author Jill Thompson Beiler, a former Ladd resident, on Saturday, October 7th at 11:00am.  Jill recently wrote a book “Seeing Through the Eyes of a Child”, which tells the story of what it’s like growing up with psychic abilities. She explains the different aspects of being psychic and gives examples based on true events. She focuses on how children experience being psychic and are often scared and when no one believes them, they stop using their abilities.  Jill currently lives in Arizona. She has dedicated her book to her parents, Audrey and Bernard Thompson. They taught her to believe in herself, to have a dream, then go for it. They also stressed to her to never give up on life, always help others, and the most important things in life are Faith, Family and Friends.  There is no charge for this program.
